B.R.Goyal Infrastructure Limited (BRG Infra) announced it has secured its first-ever contract in the underground sewerage system segment, valued at Rs. 102.05 crore (including GST). The project is part of the Tamil Nadu Urban Development Project (TNCRUDP) – 2023–2024 Phase I and involves building sewerage infrastructure for newly added and left-out areas of Namakkal Municipality in Tamil Nadu. The contract was awarded through Kevadiya Construction Limited and is to be executed over 24 months. This marks the company's entry into a new business vertical, expanding beyond its traditional focus on roads, highways, bridges, and buildings. The company has previously executed projects worth over Rs. 1,200 crore and employs 900+ people.
Positive for shareholders — the Rs. 102.05 crore contract strengthens BRG Infra's order book and signals successful diversification into urban water/sanitation infrastructure, which could support future revenue growth and broaden its geographic footprint into Tamil Nadu.
