Bajaj Auto buyback alert! Last day to buy shares to participate in firm's biggest-ever buyback worth Rs 5,633 crore

Bajaj Auto's biggest-ever share buyback of Rs 5,633 crore has June 24 as the record date, making June 23 the last day to purchase shares for eligibility. The company will buy back up to 46.94 lakh shares at Rs 12,000 apiece, a premium of nearly 18% to the previous closing price, representing 1.68% of total paid-up capital. Around 7.04 lakh shares worth Rs 844.92 crore are reserved for small shareholders, with analysts estimating an acceptance ratio of about 11% for retail investors.
