Bajaj Electricals Limited submitted the transcript of its Q4 FY25 earnings call held on May 12, 2025. Q4 revenue from operations grew 6.5% YoY to Rs. 1,265 crores, with profit before tax jumping 191% to Rs. 71 crores. Consumer Products revenue rose 8.4% YoY and segment EBIT margins improved 210 basis points to 3.9%, driven by 3.6% gross margin expansion. For the full year, adjusted PBT rose 12.4% to Rs. 148 crores. The company ended the quarter with Rs. 509 crores in surplus funds and Rs. 87 crores in operating cash flow. New MD & CEO Sanjay Sachdeva (ex-Unilever) outlined strategy continuity, while the CFO guided to a 6% EBIT margin target this year and a double-digit EBIT margin over the next three years.
Strong margin expansion in the Consumer Products segment and clear multi-year margin guidance are positive signals for shareholders. The new CEO's continuity message on strategy and the healthy Professional Lighting order book of Rs. 248 crores provide visibility on growth, though the MFI distribution headwind and delayed Lighting segment recovery remain near-term concerns.
