Bajaj Healthcare reported FY26 revenue of Rs 611 crore, up 12.6% from Rs 543 crore in FY25. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 158 lakh from Rs 395 lakh, a decline of about 60%, due to a Rs 332.47 lakh exceptional charge. The company reversed income of Rs 332.47 crore recognized in prior years because a Middle East customer could not meet commitments due to regional instability. Despite the profit decline, the company recommended a dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (30% payout). The auditors issued an unmodified opinion confirming clean books. The company also raised Rs 5,271 lakh through conversion of warrants and used part of the proceeds to repay loans.
The stock may face pressure as profit dropped significantly despite steady revenue growth. The one-time income reversal and Middle East business uncertainty are concerns, though strong cash position and dividend payout provide some support.
