Bajaj Housing Finance has allotted 1,00,000 secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, each with a face value of ₹1,00,000, taking the total issue size to ₹1,000.03 crore. The NCDs carry a coupon of 7.14% per annum, paid annually and on maturity, with a tenure of 665 days maturing on 26 February 2027. The debentures are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of BSE and are secured by a first pari-passu charge on the company's book debts and loan receivables. The allotment was approved by the Debenture Allotment Committee on 2 May 2025.
This is a routine debt-raising move that strengthens Bajaj Housing Finance's lending capital by about ₹1,000 crore at a competitive market rate. For equity shareholders, the impact is neutral — no dilution, and the cost of funds at 7.14% reflects healthy borrowing conditions for the company.
