Bajel Projects Limited reported FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs 2,882.82 crore, up 8.3% from Rs 2,662.61 crore in FY25. Standalone profit after tax grew to Rs 289.33 crore from Rs 154.64 crore. However, consolidated profit after tax was lower at Rs 207.67 crore (vs Rs 284.64 crore standalone comparison), impacted by Rs 66.77 crore share of loss from joint ventures and Rs 77.21 crore exceptional charge for new labour codes. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.60 per share (30% of Rs 2 face value), payable after August 11, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the 4th AGM on August 7, 2026. Borrowing limits are proposed to increase from Rs 3,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore. Key management changes include Ms. Amee Joshi appointed as Company Secretary replacing Mr. Ajay Nagle (retiring Aug 31), and Mrs. Pooja Bajaj proposed as Additional Non-Executive Director. The company has ongoing arbitration for Rs 859.60 crore of outstanding receivables from 3 customers.
Revenue and standalone profitability grew solidly year-on-year. The consolidated profit decline due to joint venture losses and one-time labour code charge is a near-term headwind. The dividend and proposed borrowing increase signal confidence but shareholders should monitor the arbitration recovery and joint venture performance.
