Balaji Amines reported its Q1FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Consolidated revenue was ₹367 Cr, nearly flat versus ₹361 Cr in Q4FY25 but down about 6.6% from ₹393 Cr a year ago. Consolidated EBITDA stood at ₹64 Cr (margin 17%, down from 19% YoY), while net profit attributable to shareholders was ₹31 Cr versus ₹46 Cr in Q1FY25. On a standalone basis, results were steadier with revenue of ₹327 Cr, EBITDA of ₹64 Cr (20% margin), and PAT of ₹40 Cr. Sales volume rose sequentially to 27,570 MT from 25,871 MT but was slightly lower YoY. Management remains cautious, noting stable commodity prices and expecting margin expansion only as volume uptake improves, with some near-term pressure on capacity utilization of new products.
Margins are under pressure on a year-on-year basis even as volumes recover sequentially, which may weigh on near-term sentiment. However, the zero-debt standalone balance sheet, multiple new projects (DME, NMM, Acetonitrile) coming online, and a ₹750 Cr mega-project status from Maharashtra for the subsidiary provide a medium-term growth runway for shareholders.
