Balgopal Commercial Ltd posted a standalone loss of about ₹16.24 lakh in Q2 FY26, reversing a profit of ₹7.10 crore in the same quarter last year, while EPS turned negative at ₹(0.09). For the half year ended September 2025, standalone profit collapsed to ₹1.51 crore from ₹10.98 crore a year ago, with total income shrinking roughly 82% to ₹2.37 crore (standalone) and ₹2.61 crore (consolidated). Revenue from operations in Q2 stood at just ₹33.17 lakh, almost entirely propped up by other income in earlier periods. The consolidated results also slipped into a Q2 loss of ₹8.59 lakh with EPS of ₹(0.05). Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at around ₹(1.39) crore standalone and ₹(1.79) crore consolidated, with cash balances falling to ₹1.98 lakh (standalone) and ₹68.25 lakh (consolidated). The statutory auditor (Arvind Baid & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Weak quarter with both a swing to losses and sharply negative operating cash flow points to stress in core operations; short-term borrowings have also appeared on the balance sheet, which is a concern for shareholders and may weigh on the stock in the near term.
