Balkrishna Industries has submitted to the exchanges copies of newspaper advertisements publishing its Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 (quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025) unaudited financial results, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. On a standalone basis, Q2 FY26 revenue from operations stood at Rs. 2,388.65 crores versus Rs. 2,436.19 crores in Q2 FY25, while net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 264.61 crores from Rs. 349.51 crores, a decline of about 24%. EPS dropped to Rs. 13.68 from Rs. 18.08. For H1 FY26, revenue was almost flat at Rs. 5,149.11 crores, but net profit declined roughly 33% to Rs. 551.78 crores versus Rs. 826.80 crores in H1 FY25. Consolidated Q2 FY26 net profit was Rs. 273.19 crores on revenue of Rs. 2,393.45 crores. Debt-equity ratio remained comfortable at 0.35 with outstanding debt of Rs. 3,615.13 crores.
This filing is essentially a regulatory disclosure of already-approved Q2 results, not new information. However, the underlying numbers show a meaningful YoY drop in profitability despite stable revenue, pointing to margin compression that shareholders should note. Investors may react cautiously given the significant earnings decline versus the prior-year period.
