Balkrishna Industries (BKT Tires) has published its Q4 and FY2026 financial results. On a standalone basis, total income for FY26 was Rs 10,820 crore, up about 4% from Rs 10,413 crore in FY25. However, net profit after tax declined sharply by about 25% to Rs 1,222 crore from Rs 1,628 crore in the prior year. Q4 FY26 standalone net profit was Rs 295 crore, down from Rs 362 crore in Q4 FY25. Consolidated net profit after tax for FY26 stood at Rs 1,243 crore versus Rs 1,655 crore in FY25. Basic EPS dropped to Rs 63.20 for FY26 from Rs 84.23 in FY25. The results were approved by the Board on May 8, 2026.
The sharp ~25% decline in annual net profit despite marginal revenue growth signals margin compression, likely due to higher raw material or operational costs. This earnings decline may put downward pressure on the stock price in the near term.
