Balkrishna Industries (BKT Tires) published its audited financial results for Q4 and FY 2025-26. Standalone total income grew marginally to Rs 10,820 crore from Rs 10,413 crore in FY25. However, net profit after tax declined significantly by 25% to Rs 1,222 crore from Rs 1,628 crore in the previous year. Q4 FY26 standalone net profit was Rs 295 crore. EPS dropped to Rs 63.20 per share from Rs 84.23 per share in FY25. The company maintained a healthy debt-to-equity ratio of 0.37 and debt service coverage ratio of 3.50x. Results were approved by the Board on May 8, 2026, and published in newspapers on May 10, 2026.
The 25% decline in annual net profit is a negative signal for shareholders, indicating reduced profitability despite stable revenue growth. The stock may face downward pressure unless the decline is attributed to one-off factors not yet disclosed.
