Ballarpur Industries Limited has informed the Exchange about General Updates
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Ballarpur Industries has informed the exchanges that it could not finalise its audited consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025, mainly because financial data from its subsidiary companies is still pending. The company explains that it went through the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) under the IBC after an NCLT admission order dated January 17, 2020, and a resolution plan submitted by Finquest Financial Solutions was approved by NCLT Mumbai on March 31, 2023. The new board has so far adopted results only up to March 31, 2024. The company has filed an Interlocutory Application before NCLT seeking an extension or exemption from the statutory filing requirement and is awaiting relief, with a board meeting to adopt the pending results to be convened shortly.
Shareholders should note the continued non-timeliness in financial reporting, which is a governance red flag and may keep the stock under regulatory and investor scrutiny. However, the company is actively seeking NCLT relief and attributes the delay to legacy insolvency issues and subsidiary data, not going-concern problems.
