Balmer Lawrie, a Government of India enterprise, informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors met on 15th May 2025 and reviewed the CPSE capital restructuring guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Investment and Public Asset Management. After deliberation, the Board decided not to recommend the issue of Bonus Shares. This follows up on an earlier intimation dated 28th April 2025 regarding the same matter.
Shareholders hoping for bonus shares will be disappointed, as the Board has formally ruled it out. In the short term, this removes any speculative upside from a potential bonus issuance, though it does not affect the company's underlying business operations or dividend policy.
