Balrampur Chini Mills has published its audited Q4 FY25 and full-year FY25 results in Business Standard and Arthik Lipi, as required under SEBI listing rules. For the full year on a standalone basis, total income slipped to about ₹5,415 crore from ₹5,594 crore last year, and net profit fell roughly 20.6% to ₹343.88 crore from ₹433.21 crore. Standalone EPS for FY25 came in at ₹17.04 versus ₹21.47 in FY24, while consolidated EPS was ₹21.65 versus ₹26.49. The silver lining was Q4 standalone, where net profit rose about 11.5% year-on-year to ₹220 crore from ₹197 crore. The Board has confirmed the already-paid interim dividend of ₹3 per share (300% on face value of ₹1) as the final dividend for FY25, with no additional dividend proposed.
Despite a better Q4, the sharp full-year profit dip is a mild negative signal on margin performance, though sugar is a seasonal business so annual results carry more weight than any single quarter. The confirmed ₹3 per share total dividend provides steady income support for shareholders, and the stock reaction will likely depend on how the market reads the profit decline against the strong Q4 finish.
