Balrampur Foundation, the CSR arm of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited, has launched a women-focused skill development programme in partnership with Balrampur Bioyug and ITI Mohammadi in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. The initiative aims to train women ITI students in 3D printing technology using Bioyug PLA (Polylactic Acid) bioplastic materials. The programme uses a Train-the-Trainer model implemented by VAP 3D, with two trainers already trained on machine operations, slicing software, and design tools. A pilot batch of 20 girl students will receive hands-on training in advanced manufacturing skills for employment and micro-entrepreneurship opportunities. Infrastructure including 3D printers, laptops, and Bioyug PLA materials has been installed at ITI Mohammadi.
