Bampsl Securities, an RBI-registered NBFC, reported audited results for FY25 with total income jumping to Rs. 2,410.41 lakh from Rs. 902.24 lakh in FY24, a growth of nearly 167%. Net profit after tax rose sharply to Rs. 135.16 lakh from Rs. 39.43 lakh, more than tripling year-on-year. Operating revenue (net sales) also surged from Rs. 831.35 lakh to Rs. 2,343 lakh. Despite the strong earnings, cash flow from operations turned slightly negative at Rs. (0.87) lakh versus Rs. 1.55 lakh last year. The statutory auditor M/s G.C. Agarwal & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
The triple-digit profit growth and strong revenue expansion are positive for shareholders, signaling a sharp scale-up in the NBFC's business. However, the negative operating cash flow despite higher profits is a yellow flag worth watching for working-capital or lending-book quality.
