Banaras Beads Limited reported a 19.27% decline in annual revenue to Rs. 2548.68 lac and a 42.54% drop in profit after tax to Rs. 177.46 lac for FY 2025-26, compared to the prior year. Quarterly performance also weakened, with Q4 revenue falling 15.75% to Rs. 650.82 lac and PAT down 5.13% to Rs. 54.93 lac. EPS declined from Rs. 4.65 to Rs. 2.69. The management attributed the decline to US-based buyers withholding orders due to increased US tariffs. The company noted that the tariff issue has since been resolved, orders have been confirmed, and export execution has resumed, expecting improved turnover and profitability going forward.
The sharp decline in both revenue and profitability is a near-term concern for investors, though the resolution of the US tariff dispute and resumption of exports provide a positive forward outlook.
