Bank of England votes 7-2 to hold rates at 3.75%

Bank of England voted 7-2 to keep interest rates unchanged at 3.75 percent, in line with economist expectations. Two policymakers pushed for a higher rate. Governor Andrew Bailey noted that inflationary pressures are expected to rise despite prospects of a new agreement with Iran.
