Bank of Maharashtra reported strong FY26 results with net profit of INR 7,019 crores (up 27% YoY) and operating profit of INR 10,826 crores (up 16% YoY). The bank exceeded all its guidance parameters - NIM at 3.91% vs 3.75% guidance, ROA at 1.86% vs 1.75% guidance, and GNPA improved to 1.45% (down 29 bps). Total advances grew 22%, deposits grew 14% with CASA ratio maintained at 52.51%. Retail growth was exceptional at 32%, with home loans (29%), vehicle loans (56%), and gold loans (53%). The bank created a INR 200 crore provision for geopolitical uncertainties and disclosed FY27 guidance targeting 16-17% total business growth and 1.80% ROA. FII shareholding increased from 0.39% to 5.8% during the year. The bank is monitoring potential impact from the West Asia crisis expected to materialize by Q2 FY27.
