Bank of Maharashtra announced the elevation of three senior executives to the position of Chief General Manager (CGM) effective 1st April 2026. The appointees include Shri Devdatta Vitthal Rokade (54 years, joined in 2004 as IT specialist, currently heading Operations, Strategy, ABC & Resource Planning), Shri Arun Fanidhar Kabade (57 years, joined in 1998 as IT specialist, currently heading FMA & Credit Agriculture Department), and Shri Milind Babarao Gharad (53 years, joined in 2006 as Marketing officer, currently Chairman of Maharashtra Gramin Bank). All three have experience working across branch, zonal, and head office levels. The bank issued this intimation under SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015.
These are internal promotions within the bank's senior management and represent routine succession planning. The elevation of experienced internal candidates to CGM positions is a positive indicator of talent development but is unlikely to have any significant short-term impact on the stock price as these are operational management roles rather than top leadership changes.
