Bank of Maharashtra has revised its MCLR rates across different tenors effective 31 August 2025. The overnight, one-month, three-month, and six-month MCLRs remain unchanged at 8.20%, 8.40%, 8.55%, and 8.70% respectively. Only the one-year MCLR has been reduced by 10 basis points from 9.00% to 8.90%. This is a routine interest rate review conducted by the bank as part of its regular pricing of loans linked to the MCLR benchmark.
The 10 bps cut in the one-year MCLR may make new or renewing MCLR-linked loans marginally cheaper for borrowers, which could put slight pressure on the bank's net interest margins but supports lending competitiveness. The impact on the stock is likely to be minimal since most other tenors were left unchanged.
