Bank of Maharashtra has revised its Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) effective 27 June 2025. The 3-month tenor rate has been reduced by 5 basis points from 8.70% to 8.65%, and the 1-year tenor rate has been cut by 5 basis points from 9.10% to 9.05%. The overnight, 1-month, and 6-month rates remain unchanged at 8.20%, 8.40%, and 8.90% respectively. This is a routine quarterly review of the bank's benchmark lending rate, which serves as a floor for most floating-rate loan products.
A marginal reduction in MCLR on the 3-month and 1-year tenors could slightly lower borrowing costs for new and renewing retail and corporate loan customers. For shareholders, this is a routine rate revision with no material impact on the stock.
