Bank of Maharashtra submitted its annual SEBI-mandated disclosure for 14 listed non-convertible debentures (NCDs) as on 31 March 2025. Most bonds carry credit ratings of AA+/AA (S) from agencies such as Acuite, Infomerics, CARE, ICRA, and Brickwork, with most ratings reaffirmed in late 2024 and a few upgraded from AA to AA+ by Brickwork in May 2024. One NCD (ISIN INE457A08050) was fully redeemed on 6 March 2025 through a call option at Rs. 600 crore, leaving no outstanding amount on that instrument. The bank confirmed that all interest payments on its NCDs during FY 2024-25 were made on time and there were no defaults or delays in servicing any of its debt securities.
This is a routine compliance filing and not a fresh fundraising or rating action. Investors can take comfort from the on-time interest payments, the absence of any defaults, the upgrade of a few bonds to AA+, and the clean Rs. 600 crore call-option redemption, all of which support the bank's credit profile without materially moving the stock.
