Bansal Wire Industries reported Q1 FY26 revenue of ₹9,390.1 million (up 14.9% YoY), EBITDA of ₹744.6 million (up 19.6% YoY), and PAT of ₹392.8 million (up 24.6% YoY and 18.6% QoQ). For full-year FY25, revenue crossed the ₹35,000 million milestone with 42.2% YoY growth, while PAT nearly doubled to ₹1,463.7 million. The company is investing ~₹650 crore in a backward-integrated steel and stainless steel wire facility in Sanand, Gujarat, targeted for completion by September 2027. The Dadri expansion is on track for H1 FY26, and the specialty wire portfolio (hose wire, steel cord, bead wire) is being scaled to target import substitution opportunities worth 2-2.5 lakh tonnes annually. Debt metrics have improved significantly, with Net Debt/EBITDA falling from 3.63x in FY22 to 2.16x in FY25, and Debt/Equity improving from 1.82x to 0.48x over the same period.
Strong Q1 performance, improving margins, and a clear multi-year expansion roadmap (backward integration, specialty wires, capacity addition) point to sustained growth momentum. The significant deleveraging strengthens the balance sheet, making this positive for long-term shareholders, though execution of the large Sanand project will be the key thing to watch.
