Bansal Wire Industries reported strong audited results for FY25. Consolidated revenue from operations grew about 42% to Rs. 35,071.68 million from Rs. 24,660.31 million in FY24, while consolidated profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs. 1,463.66 million from Rs. 752.42 million (up ~95%). Standalone revenue rose ~40% to Rs. 32,032.09 million with standalone PAT up ~83% to Rs. 1,251.61 million. Q4 FY25 consolidated revenue came in at Rs. 9,401.99 million (up ~33% YoY) with Q4 PAT of Rs. 331.15 million. EPS for FY25 was Rs. 9.73 vs Rs. 5.78 in FY24. The company has two subsidiaries now, including newly incorporated BWI Steel Private Limited (October 2024). Statutory auditor Prateek Gupta & Company issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both consolidated and standalone results. The company listed on NSE/BSE in July 2024 via an IPO that raised Rs. 7,450 million, and nearly all IPO proceeds have been deployed.
Positive for shareholders — strong double-digit revenue and profit growth, clean audit, and full deployment of IPO funds signal a healthy post-listing performance. However, standalone operating cash flow turned sharply negative (Rs. -1,062 million vs Rs. +737 million) due to working capital build-up, which is a watchpoint despite the robust profits.
