Barak Valley Cements has submitted its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended 31 March 2025 to BSE and NSE, as required under SEBI LODR Regulation 47. The board approved the results on 29 May 2025, and they were published in Financial Express and Dainandin Barta newspapers on 31 May 2025. On a consolidated basis, full-year FY25 revenue stood at Rs. 20,897.95 lakhs versus Rs. 28,162.86 lakhs in FY24, a sharp drop of roughly 26%. Consolidated profit after tax for FY25 fell steeply to about Rs. 218.90 lakhs from Rs. 1,265.20 lakhs in FY24. Standalone numbers held up better, with FY25 PAT at Rs. 807.18 lakhs compared to Rs. 947 lakhs in FY24, on revenue of Rs. 20,600.87 lakhs versus Rs. 21,434.34 lakhs.
The filing itself is a routine regulatory disclosure, but the underlying numbers point to significant revenue and profit erosion year-on-year at the consolidated level, which is a negative signal for shareholders. Standalone performance was relatively more resilient, though still down compared to the previous year.
