Baroda Extrusion Ltd reported FY2026 revenue of Rs 18,251.12 Lakhs, up 14.7% YoY from Rs 15,905.39 Lakhs. Net profit after tax stood at Rs 733.43 Lakhs vs Rs 1,972.19 Lakhs in FY25 (FY25 included a one-time gain of Rs 1,883.94 Lakhs from settlement). The company appointed Alpesh Kanugo as Managing Director (son of Parasmal Kanugo, the outgoing Managing Director), and Mr. Nilesh Shah as a Non-Executive Independent Director for 5 years. The board also appointed an IR firm (Finportal Investments), an internal auditor (Surti & Talati), and approved raising the borrowing limit. Other Equity turned positive to Rs 550.13 Lakhs from negative Rs 3,460.83 Lakhs, largely due to a Rs 3,728.25 Lakhs preferential equity issue. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Positive for governance as the company strengthens its board with an experienced MD and an independent director. The promoter family continuity (Alpesh Kanugo being Parasmal Kanugo's son) may be viewed neutrally by minority investors. Strong revenue growth is encouraging but the lower PAT reflects the absence of prior year exceptional gains.
