Baroda Rayon Corporation informed the BSE that Infomerics Valuation and Rating Ltd has reaffirmed its long-term credit rating at 'IVR BB- / Stable' (Double B Minus with Stable Outlook). The rating covers an enhanced long-term bank loan facility of Rs. 175 crore, up from the previous limit of Rs. 75 crore. The facility is backed by term loans from The Mehsana Urban Co-op Bank, The Sutex Co-op Bank, Surat National Co-op Bank, and State Bank of India, with maturities running from March 2028 to February 2030. The rating was reviewed by Infomerics based on audited FY25 results and Q1FY26 performance. The rating is valid until February 23, 2026.
The rating reaffirmation signals that the company's credit profile remains unchanged in the agency's view, while the more-than-doubled loan facility suggests banks are willing to extend greater credit support. However, IVR BB- is below investment grade, indicating the company still carries elevated credit risk for lenders and investors.
