BASF India Limited published its audited financial results for FY ended March 31, 2026 in newspapers on May 21, 2026, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. Consolidated total income was Rs 149,854 million, marginally higher than Rs 148,114 million in the prior year. However, net profit after tax declined to Rs 4,169.2 million from Rs 4,992 million in FY25, reflecting pressure on profitability. Standalone total income was Rs 149,440 million with net profit after tax of Rs 4,201 million versus Rs 4,790.6 million in the prior year. Basic EPS (continuing and discontinued) stood at Rs 97.1 for standalone and Rs 96.3 for consolidated, down from Rs 110.7 and Rs 115.3 respectively in FY25. The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors on May 19, 2026.
The decline in net profit despite stable revenue signals margin pressure. Lower EPS year-on-year may weigh on the stock in the near term until visibility on cost control and revenue growth improves.
