Bayer CropScience reported its Q1 FY2025-26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025) with Revenue from Operations of ₹19,146 million, up 17% from ₹16,314 million in the same quarter last year. Profit Before Tax rose to ₹3,352 million from ₹3,158 million, while Profit After Tax grew by 10% year-on-year. Growth was driven mainly by higher volumes of Corn seeds and Roundup®, aided by an early onset of the monsoon. The company also launched BICOTA®, a new product for managing Stem Borers in paddy cultivation, targeted at smallholder farmers. Management noted that operating expenses were higher due to the early monsoon, but flagged early signs of input cost stabilisation.
Strong top-line growth of 17% and double-digit PAT growth signal healthy operational momentum, likely to be viewed positively by shareholders. The earnings beat on revenue combined with new product launch and stable cost outlook supports a constructive near-term sentiment for the stock.
