The board of Bazel International Ltd (an NBFC) approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Standalone revenue from operations grew strongly to Rs 104.32 lakh from Rs 74.84 lakh in Q1 FY25 (~39% growth), driven by interest income. Standalone net profit rose to Rs 44.13 lakh from Rs 33.34 lakh (~32% growth), though EPS dipped slightly to Rs 1.58 from Rs 1.71. The board also noted the resignation of Company Secretary Ms. Preeti Bhatia (effective 31 July 2025) due to personal reasons. Separately, the company issued a clarification that its earlier 28 May 2025 filing incorrectly reported Paid-up Equity Share Capital as Rs 33,791.16 lakh; the correct figure is Rs 278.60 lakh (27.86 lakh shares of Rs 10 each). The earlier figure had wrongly included partly paid-up share warrant amounts.
Revenue and profit growth on a low base is mildly positive, but the small absolute numbers, EPS dip, and a prior filing error around share capital (later corrected) may dent investor confidence. The Company Secretary exit is a minor governance watchpoint but unlikely to materially affect the stock.
