Bazel International, a registered NBFC, filed a revised board meeting outcome correcting an inadvertent error where draft financial results were initially submitted instead of final approved results. For FY26 standalone, revenue grew 37.6% to Rs 439.89 lakh, but net profit declined 30% to Rs 101.25 lakh from Rs 144.55 lakh in FY25. On consolidated basis, revenue rose to Rs 441.39 lakh from Rs 320.51 lakh, yet net profit dropped to Rs 42.42 lakh from Rs 57.91 lakh. The auditors issued an Emphasis of Matter noting non-receipt of interest income from a company to whom advances were made, with the exposure not classified as sub-standard asset despite management planning to convert it to equity. The company also approved conversion of inter-company loan to Sagar Portfolio Services Limited into equity shares and appointed a new internal auditor.
Revenue growth was strong but profit declined significantly, indicating margin compression. The auditor's emphasis on non-recovery of interest income and improper NPA classification raises asset quality concerns for this NBFC.
