BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd has signed a new agreement worth Rs. 325.80 million (about ₹32.58 crore) with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for 25 KV Overhead Electrification (OHE) modification work. The project covers the Gurmura to Mahadia and Shakti Nagar section of Dhanbad Division under East Coast Railway, spanning 110/220 RKM/TKM. The work involves design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 2x25 KV feeder lines to meet a 3000 MT loading target. The contract is expected to be executed over 16 months. Chairman Mr. Aparesh Nandi expressed optimism about a strong pipeline of similar orders in the coming months and across PAN India.
This is a positive development as it adds Rs. 32.58 crore to the company's order book and reinforces its presence in Indian Railway electrification.
