Synthiko Foils Limited reported audited results showing revenue from operations of Rs 430.51 lakhs for Q4 FY25 (vs Rs 612.70 lakhs in Q4 FY24), with a quarterly net loss of Rs 12.84 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 9.57 lakhs a year ago. For the full year FY25, revenue declined to Rs 2,115.99 lakhs from Rs 2,582.15 lakhs in FY24, an 18% drop. Despite the revenue fall, full-year profit after tax improved modestly to Rs 24.11 lakhs from Rs 21.17 lakhs, helped by lower material and finance costs. The statutory auditor (S C Mehra & Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion, and the company declared zero long-term borrowings and improved cash balances of Rs 70.42 lakhs versus Rs 2.43 lakhs previously.
Investors should note the sharp revenue contraction and a swing to a quarterly loss, though full-year profitability held up and the balance sheet strengthened with no long-term debt. The clean audit opinion and zero borrowings reduce risk, but the declining top line is a concern that could pressure the stock if not reversed.
