Benares Hotels Limited (BHL), a subsidiary of Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), reported strong FY25 results with revenue of INR 140.7 crore, up 14% from INR 123.8 crore last year. EBITDA grew to INR 64.5 crore with a robust margin of 45.8%, while profit after tax rose to INR 43.2 crore from INR 36.1 crore. Q4 FY25 was especially strong with revenue of INR 50.5 crore (38% YoY growth) and PAT of INR 16.1 crore, driven largely by demand from the Kumbh Mela in Varanasi. The company also announced that a new 100-room wing and restaurant at Taj Ganges is in advanced stages and will open in Q3 FY26.
Strong double-digit growth across all metrics signals healthy operational performance, likely to be viewed positively by shareholders. The upcoming room expansion at Taj Ganges offers future growth potential, while the Kumbh Mela tailwind may not be repeatable next year.
