Benares Hotels Limited (BHL), a subsidiary of Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), reported Q3 FY2026 revenue of INR 42.7 crores, up from INR 40.1 crores in Q3 FY2025, a growth of about 6.5%. EBITDA rose to INR 20.6 crores (margin of 48%) and Profit After Tax stood at INR 14.2 crores, compared to INR 19.9 crores and INR 13.6 crores respectively last year. For the nine-month period, revenue grew to INR 95.0 crores from INR 90.2 crores, with EBITDA at INR 42.2 crores and PAT at INR 27.9 crores. Growth was driven by a 6% increase in RevPAR, mainly from higher room rates. The company also announced that a new 100-room wing of Taj Ganges will become operational in February 2026. The release also highlighted brand recognitions, including Taj Nadesar Palace featuring in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2025.
Steady revenue and profit growth, strong 48% EBITDA margin, and the upcoming room expansion at Taj Ganges are positive signals for shareholders, though PAT growth of around 4% in Q3 remains modest. Capacity addition in Feb 2026 could support further revenue growth in coming quarters.
