Benares Hotels Limited reported its Q3 FY26 results with income from operations of ₹41.63 crore, up about 7% from ₹38.87 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹42.66 crore versus ₹40.10 crore a year ago. Profit after tax for Q3 FY26 was ₹14.23 crore, up modestly from ₹13.56 crore in Q3 FY25, with EPS of ₹109.48 versus ₹104.31. For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, revenue from operations was ₹90.54 crore against ₹86.34 crore last year, while PAT was ₹27.89 crore against ₹27.20 crore. The company booked an exceptional item of ₹13.34 lakhs related to the implementation of the new Labour Codes, mainly the impact on gratuity due to changes in wage definition.
Results show steady but unspectacular growth in both revenue and profitability, with the hotel business continuing to generate healthy margins. Shareholders should note the modest single-digit growth and the small one-time Labour Code charge, while the clean auditor review with no qualifications is reassuring.
