Berger Paints India reported audited standalone FY2026 results with revenue from operations of Rs 10,420.10 crore, up 2.5% from Rs 10,169.22 crore in FY2025. Standalone profit after tax grew to Rs 1,095.66 crore from Rs 1,077.50 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 11,880.25 crore. The Board recommended dividend of Rs 4.00 per share (400% on Re 1 face value) for FY2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the 102nd AGM. Exceptional items of Rs 49.99 crore included impact of new labour codes and Rs 36.81 crore loss from a fire at Barasat warehouse, partially offset by insurance claim recovery. The Board also approved re-appointment of MD & CEO Abhijit Roy for another 4 years from July 2027 to June 2031.
The modest standalone profit growth and dividend recommendation signal stable performance. Investors may view the fire incident recovery and steady revenue growth positively. The MD reappointment provides continuity in leadership.
