BGIL Films & Technologies Limited reported quarterly total income of Rs 27.38 lakh for Q4 FY26, up from Rs 25.75 lakh in the same period last year. For the full year FY26, total income more than tripled to Rs 102.11 lakh from Rs 26.75 lakh in FY25. Despite higher revenues, profitability declined significantly - Q4 net profit after tax fell to Rs 3.54 lakh from Rs 39.31 lakh in Q4 FY25, and full year net profit after tax dropped to Rs 22.86 lakh from Rs 60.97 lakh. The company returned to profit on a per share basis with EPS of Rs 0.08 for FY26 compared to a loss of Rs 0.20 in FY25. Equity share capital remained unchanged at Rs 1132.76 lakh.
The substantial revenue growth demonstrates improving business operations, though the compression in profit margins raises concerns about cost efficiency. The return to profit per share is positive, but the declining bottom-line performance may create mixed sentiment among investors.
