BGIL Films & Technologies reported a small profit of Rs. 1.91 lakh for Q3 FY26 (Oct–Dec 2025), reversing a loss of Rs. 7.83 lakh in the same quarter last year. However, for the nine-month period (Apr–Dec 2025), the company is still in the red with a loss of Rs. 24.79 lakh, slightly better than the Rs. 29.12 lakh loss in the same period last year. Revenue from operations for 9M FY26 stood at Rs. 29.33 lakh versus Rs. 26.75 lakh a year ago. Total comprehensive income for 9M FY26 was a loss of Rs. 20.98 lakh, and diluted EPS was Rs. (0.19). The statutory auditor flagged several concerns in an Emphasis of Matter, including irregular payment of statutory dues, pending TDS returns, unreconciled debtors and creditors, a joint venture with no profit/loss booked yet, and a partially paid SEBI penalty of Rs. 5 lakh. The company has also withdrawn its preferential share warrants approval application and plans to file a fresh one.
The quarterly turnaround to a small profit is a minor positive, but the company remains loss-making on a year-to-date basis and carries multiple auditor-flagged compliance and governance concerns that weigh on investor confidence. Shareholders should view this as a fragile recovery with unresolved risk issues.
