BGR Energy Systems has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements (Business Standard in English and Prajasakti in Telugu) publishing its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26, in line with SEBI listing rules. The company reported total operating income of ₹88.61 crore in Q1 FY26, down from ₹128.78 crore in Q1 FY25. Standalone net loss after tax was ₹263.02 crore, slightly narrower than the ₹328.42 crore loss in the same quarter last year, but still very large. Consolidated net loss was ₹266.03 crore versus ₹332.36 crore a year ago. Standalone EPS came in at negative ₹36.45 versus negative ₹45.51 in Q1 FY25. Full-year FY25 (audited) showed standalone loss of ₹976.41 crore and consolidated loss of ₹968.46 crore.
This is a routine newspaper publication of already-disclosed quarterly results and does not change the fundamentals. However, the numbers are weak — a third consecutive quarter of large losses, shrinking revenue, and a very high accumulated loss per share signal continued operational stress for shareholders. Investors should expect weak near-term sentiment on the stock given the persistent losses.
