Bhageria Industries Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Rahuri Cleantech Private Limited, has successfully commissioned a 7 MW grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant at Bhatkudgaon, Taluka Shevgaon, District Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra on March 27, 2026. The plant is split across two bays of 3.5 MW each. This is part of a larger aggregate capacity of 32 MW being developed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, a Maharashtra state government solar scheme. The remaining ~25 MW is yet to be commissioned. The company says the project enhances its renewable energy portfolio and supports its sustainability initiatives, with grid-connected operations now underway.
Positive for shareholders — this is a new revenue-generating greenfield solar asset coming online, diversifying the company into renewable energy through a government-backed scheme with long-term offtake visibility. Short-term stock impact may be modest as this is a relatively small capacity, but it signals the company's clean energy expansion strategy.
