Bharat Bijlee informs shareholders about TDS on FY26 dividend

Bharat Bijlee has communicated TDS rules to shareholders on the FY 2025-26 dividend of Rs 35 per share (700% on face value of Rs 5), declared at the board meeting on May 12, 2026. Record date is July 15, 2026 and payment begins August 3, 2026. TDS is 10% for resident shareholders with valid PAN, 20% without PAN or if PAN is not linked to Aadhaar. Non-residents face 20% plus surcharge and cess, with DTAA benefits available on document submission. No TDS if resident individual dividend is up to Rs 10,000 or Form 121 is filed.
