Bharat Bijlee Limited published its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026 in newspapers (Free Press Journal and Navshakti), as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. Total revenue from operations for FY26 stood at Rs 2,273.80 crore, up 19.6% from Rs 1,901.69 crore in FY25. Net profit after tax for the year was Rs 120.09 crore, compared to Rs 133.65 crore in the prior year. EPS declined to Rs 106.24 from Rs 118.24. For Q4 FY26, revenue was Rs 767.09 crore and PAT was Rs 39.30 crore. The comprehensive income for the year was Rs 127.13 crore. The board meeting to approve these results was held on 12 May 2026.
Revenue grew by ~20% year-on-year driven by strong operational performance, but net profit declined due to increased costs or tax expenses. EPS compression and lower PAT versus prior year may cause near-term concern despite healthy top-line growth.
