Bharat Coking Coal Limited announced a change in its senior management effective 25.05.2026. Shri Rajesh Kumar, previously Chief Manager (Coal Processing), has assumed the charge of Head of Department in the Washery Construction Department. He replaces M Sohel Iqbal, General Manager (Coal Processing)/General Manager (Washery Division), who was holding additional charge of the post. With this appointment, Shri Rajesh Kumar becomes a Senior Management Personnel of the company. Shri Rajesh Kumar has been with BCCL since October 1996 and brings nearly three decades of experience in coal processing and washery operations, holding a B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) and M.Tech in Mineral Engineering.
This is an internal departmental reshuffle at a PSU coal company and is unlikely to have any immediate impact on stock price or shareholder interests. It reflects normal succession planning within senior management.
