Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a Coal India subsidiary, has announced two changes in its key managerial personnel effective February 28, 2026. Shri Rajesh Kumar, Director (Finance) who assumed charge on February 10, 2026, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Shri M.S. Raju, GM (Finance), who was earlier designated as CFO. Rajesh Kumar brings over 35 years of experience across Coal India subsidiaries (BCCL, MCL, NCL) with expertise in corporate finance, taxation, treasury, SAP-FICO, and large-scale project financing, and holds CMA and MBA (Finance) credentials. Shri Bani Kumar Parui, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, will retire on superannuation on February 28, 2026, and will be replaced by Shri Debanuj Debnath, currently Manager (CS), effective March 1, 2026. Debnath is a qualified Company Secretary with prior experience at Tripura Forest Department and Tripura Forest Development and Plantation Corporation.
These are routine internal personnel transitions and not expected to materially impact the stock. The CFO change is an internal restructuring where the existing Director (Finance) formally takes the CFO designation, and the Company Secretary change is a planned retirement. No governance red flags or surprise resignals are evident.
