Bharat Dynamics Limited has released audited financial results for Q4 and full year FY2026 (ended 31 March 2026). Total revenue from operations declined to Rs 2,44,179 lakh from Rs 3,34,505 lakh in FY2025, while profit after tax fell to Rs 42,034 lakh from Rs 54,965 lakh. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.40 per share (face value Rs 5), on top of an interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per share already paid in February 2026, bringing the total dividend for FY2026 to Rs 4.90 per share. EPS for the year stood at Rs 11.47 compared to Rs 14.99 in the prior year.
The company maintained dividend payouts despite a significant decline in profitability and revenue, which may be viewed positively by income-focused investors but raises questions about sustainability given the earnings contraction.
