Bharat Dynamics Limited, a defence PSU, has reported audited standalone financial results for FY2026 ending March 31, 2026. Total revenue from operations declined significantly to ₹2,44,179 lakhs from ₹3,34,505 lakhs in FY2025, representing approximately 27% revenue decline. Profit after tax (PAT) fell to ₹42,034 lakhs from ₹54,965 lakhs, a decline of about 23.5%. EPS for FY2026 stood at ₹11.47 compared to ₹14.99 in the previous year. The company has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.40 per share (face value ₹5), in addition to the ₹4.50 interim dividend already paid in February 2026. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements.
The sharp revenue and profit decline, down about 27% and 23.5% respectively, indicates significant headwinds for the defence manufacturer. The clean audit opinion provides assurance on financial reporting quality. However, governance issues like the non-constituted Audit Committee may raise concerns for investors.
