Bharat Forge Limited has invested €15 million (around Rs. 1,600.35 million) into its wholly owned German subsidiary, Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH (BFGH), through a capital reserve contribution. BFGH acts as the holding company for Bharat Forge's overseas manufacturing subsidiaries in Germany, Sweden, and France, and reported a turnover of €6.50 million in 2024 (up from €5.11 million in 2023). Since BFGH is already a 100% subsidiary, the company will continue to hold full ownership after the infusion. The investment is structured as a cash equity infusion, done on an arm's length basis, and is classified as a related party transaction. All required approvals have been obtained, and the transaction is scheduled to be completed by March 11, 2026.
This is a routine capital infusion into an existing wholly owned overseas subsidiary, so it is unlikely to materially impact shareholding or stock price. It signals continued support for Bharat Forge's international operations and overseas expansion strategy.
