Bharat Forge Ltd reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY26 ending March 31, 2026. Standalone revenue grew marginally to Rs 108,926 million from Rs 108,686 million. Consolidated revenue increased 11% to Rs 168,117 million from Rs 151,228 million. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 6.50 per share (325% on Rs 2 face value), payable after August 14, 2026 subject to shareholder approval. Exceptional items included Rs 4,996.50 million impairment of investment in Kalyani Powertrain Limited (EV subsidiary) and Rs 425.64 million restructuring costs for German subsidiary Bharat Forge CDP GmbH. The company completed acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Corporation (renamed K Drive Mobility Solutions) for Rs 7,474 million. Mr. Ashish Bharat Ram was re-appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director for 5 years from September 2026.
The stock may see mixed reaction due to strong consolidated revenue growth offset by large impairment charges at the standalone level totaling Rs 5,910 million. The dividend yield of approximately 0.7-0.8% provides some shareholder returns. The restructuring of German operations and EV business writedowns suggest ongoing portfolio rationalization.
